Listen to the Sound

So, for starters, I'll say that this piece was not really original. For those of you who haven't done so, check out my friend *FootballHockeyPilot's amazing gallery, and take a good look at this piece in particular

look familiar? Surprise! The image I've posted to my gallery here is a tile-mural representation of the beautiful piece you just (hopefully) looked at. When I saw the original drawing it was extremely inspirational, but I had nothing to do with it until I switched my classes around and found myself in a murals class with the ceramics teacher. Thus, my piece was born.

Total time: a lot... each piece took an average of probably about 2.5-3 hours between cutting and painting and etching
